Share your photos, videos, and stories with us so that we can share them with prospective students!

Photo & Video Submission

There’s no doubt you have some amazing photos from your time abroad. If you want to see your photos on social media and other marketing materials, take a look at the guidelines below and click on the button below to submit your photos.

We are looking for pictures and videos that:

  • Are high quality (300 dpi; PNG, JPG, or TIFF formats)
  • Emphasize the culture of your host country
  • Show you and your peers engaged in your surroundings
  • Highlight inclusion, diversity, and various identities abroad

Please don’t submit photos with inappropriate content (i.e. alcohol/drug use, exploitative images, etc.). We reserve the right to not use your photos/videos for any reason.

Contribute to the Student Stories Blog

Sharing student stories is one of the ways prospective students can learn about the programs we offer. We are interested in collecting powerful or impactful stories, especially if your identity shaped parts of your experiences while abroad. If you have an essay or written composition about your study abroad experience, click the button below to submit. If you don’t have submission materials, but would like to be featured in the Student Stories Blog, email iage@illinois.edu.

Become an Illinois Abroad Ambassador

Ambassadors promote study abroad by speaking with prospective students, contributing photos and videos to the marketing team, being featured on our Student Stories Blog, and much more! All study abroad returnees will receive an email about becoming an Illinois Abroad Ambassador and all interested students will have to complete a half-hour training.
